BWRC's more than 250 members are registered Republican voters in
Pinellas County, Florida
. They include women and men of all ages and backgrounds. These members help promote Republican values and policies and they support local Republican candidates.
BWRC's mission is to promote an informed electorate through political education and to increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active participation. The Club offers educational programs which broaden political understanding and knowledge of government at all levels. It fosters loyalty to the Republican Party, promotes its ideals and supports the objectives and policies of the National Committee. Members work for the election of the Republican Party's nominees. \
BWRC was chartered on April 17, 1964. Its founders were a group of local Republican women who socialized routinely. They decided to adopt a more serious purpose. They elected to champion Republican values and policies, and help Republican candidates achieve election victories.
